What a first year costs
The licence is the only money we take. Data is bought wholesale from Databento or ThetaData under your own account, and history you download is cached on your disk, so it keeps replaying after a data subscription lapses.

The price at checkout is the price you keep
$49 is the founder price and it will rise to $99. A licence bought now costs nothing more later, and the rise never touches it. Subscription platforms rent the same job from $49.99 a month, every month, researching or not.
FAQ
Common pricing questions
- Is there a subscription?
- No. The licence is one payment and stays yours. The only recurring cost is market data, bought from your own vendor and billed to you in the months you research.
- What happens after the year of updates?
- The app you have keeps working. A later major version may be a paid upgrade, and an update never removes a feature you paid for.
- How many Macs does the licence cover?
- A key activates up to three machines you own or control. Releasing a machine from Settings frees its slot, so the licence moves with you when you replace a computer.
- What will the data cost me?
- On Databento a year of 1-minute SPX weekly quotes runs about $263 plus about $8 of contract definitions, billed to your own account. ThetaData starts at $40 a month, cancel-anytime. The data cost calculator prices your own window.
- How is payment taken?
- Checkout runs through Creem, the merchant of record, so your card statement shows Creem. The licence key arrives the moment the payment clears.
- Can I get a refund?
- The key is delivered the moment you pay, which is when the EU withdrawal right ends. If the app does not work for you, write to us. Nothing here removes a right the law gives you.
