Adesia S.r.l. runs volatlas.com and sells the Volatlas app. This explains what stays on your machine, the little that reaches us, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Your market data never reaches us

Volatlas reads options data on your Mac, either from the Theta Terminal you run yourself over localhost or from Databento using your own key. The data travels from the vendor to your machine and stops there. We operate no server that sees a quote, a chain or a strategy, so there is nothing on our side to hand over, sell or lose.

Downloaded history is cached on your own disk. Strategies, backtests, sweeps, settings and exports stay on your machine. Your Databento key is stored locally and sent only to Databento, and your ThetaData login never touches the app at all, because you run the vendor's own Terminal.

What we do receive

Your licence key, an instance identifier and a machine label when you activate, recheck or release a copy. The label names the computer generically rather than personally. We need this to honour the licence you bought, which is the contract between us.

Your purchase details, which are held by Creem, our payment provider and merchant of record. Card numbers never touch our systems.

Ordinary server logs when your browser or the app calls volatlas.com, including the IP address. We keep these briefly to run the service and to stop abuse.

No cookies, no analytics, no account

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. There is no account to create and no profile to build, which is why nothing here asks for consent to be tracked.

Who else handles it

Creem processes payments and licence keys. Vercel hosts the site and the endpoint the app checks its licence against. Each acts on our instructions, some are outside the European Economic Area, and those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. ThetaData and Databento are your suppliers rather than ours, so their handling of your account is between you and them.

How long we keep it

Activation records last as long as your licence. Invoices are kept for the periods Italian tax law requires. Logs are measured in weeks.

What you can ask for

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, have it corrected or deleted, take it elsewhere, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Deleting your activation record releases the licence, so ask for that only when you want the key freed.

Write to support@volatlas.com and we will answer within a month. If we get it wrong you can complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali in Italy, or to the authority where you live.
