These cover buying and using Volatlas, the desktop app sold by Adesia S.r.l.. Buying it means agreeing to them.

Who you are buying from

Adesia S.r.l. sells Volatlas. Payment is taken by Creem, which acts as merchant of record, so your card statement shows Creem and their checkout terms cover the payment itself. Everything about the app and the licence is between you and us.

What the licence gives you

One payment buys a personal licence to run Volatlas on machines you own or control, on macOS or Windows. A key activates up to three of them. Releasing a machine from Settings frees its slot, so you can move the licence when you replace a computer.

Between online checks the app keeps working offline for fourteen days. After that it asks for one connection before it opens again.

There is no subscription and no expiry on the licence itself.

What it does not allow

Do not resell, rent, share or redistribute the app or your key, and do not work around the licence check. You may not decompile or reverse engineer the app except where the law expressly permits it regardless of what we write here.

Updates

Updates arrive through the app and are signed, so an installed copy only accepts builds from us. Updates are included for the life of the product, at no further cost. We will not remove a feature you paid for through an update without telling you.

Your data subscription

Volatlas reads options data through your own ThetaData subscription or your own Databento key. That relationship is yours, their terms and their charges apply to you directly, and what you may do with the data is governed by your agreement with them.

We do not supply market data and we do not resell it. We cannot promise a vendor will keep any particular tier, price, symbol or history available, and the prices quoted on our site are theirs to change.

Backtests are not predictions and not advice

Volatlas is research software. It simulates how a strategy would have traded over historical data you supply. Nothing it produces is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to trade, and we are not investment advisers or brokers.

A backtested result is a statement about the past. It cannot tell you what a strategy will earn, and a simulation cannot reproduce a live market exactly, because fills, liquidity, assignment, borrow, halts and your own broker's margin treatment all differ from any model of them. Options trading carries substantial risk, including losing more than you put in on an uncovered position. Decisions you take with this tool are yours.

Refunds

Thirty day refund guarantee. Write to us within thirty days of your purchase and we refund it in full, no reason needed. Nothing here removes a right the law gives you.

Price

The founder price is what you pay at checkout. That price will rise, and a licence bought earlier keeps working at no extra cost.

What we do and do not promise

We work to make Volatlas correct and useful, but it is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid. Rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded stay untouched, including for death, personal injury or anything caused by fraud.

Ending the licence

If you break these terms in a way that matters and do not fix it, the licence ends and the key stops activating machines. You can stop using the app at any time.

Law

Italian law governs these terms. If you buy as a consumer, the mandatory protections of the country you live in still apply, and you can bring a claim there.
